Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board or TNUSRB is the exam conducting body for various positions in the state. Recently, it has conducted examinations for the posts of the Fireman, Jail Warder, and Police Constable on December 10, 2023. The result is now available on its official website on January 12, 2024.

TNUSRB login- How to check your result?


The results for the 3359 posts of TNUSRB for the posts of PG (Grade 2)Under Police Department, Jail Warder (Grade 2) under Prison Department or Fireman under Fire and Rescue Services Department were recently declared.

It is important and easy to do TNUSR login using the following steps:

  • Step 1: Visit go to the official website of the TNUSRB.
  • Step 2: Go to the option “Common Recruitment 2023 (PC, Jail Warder, & Fireman)- Qualifying Status” and click on it.
  • Step 3: Now, enter the user ID, password, and then select the “Submit” button.
  • TNUSRB cut off
  • The cut off marks for the post of TNUSRB SI, TNUSRB PC, and Jail Warder is expected to be between 53 to 57 out of 70 marks.
  • In this examination, the Tamil Language Eligibility Test had 80 questions of 1 mark each while the Main Written Examination (General Knowledge and Psychology) had 70 questions of 1 mark each.

Steps after the declaration of the results of TNUSRB

After the declaration of the results of the TNUSRB, the next step is the physical test for the post of Post Constable, Jail Warder, and Fireman. The three steps for these tests are:
Physical Measurement Test


It covers the following standards for men, and women/ transgender:

Men

  • Height measurement
  • For: OC, BC, BC(M), MBC/DNC: Minimum 170cms
  • For: SC, SC(A), ST: Minimum 167cms

Chest measurement

  • Normal: Minimum 81cms
  • Expansion: Minimum is 5 cms and expansion minimum 86 cms required on while on expansion.

Women/ Transgender

  • Height measurement
  • OC, BC, BC(M), MBC/DNC: Minimum 159cms
  • SC, SC(A), ST: Minimum 157cms

Endurance Test :It covers the following standards for men, women/ transgender, and ex-servicemen/ serving personnel going to retire:

Men

  • 1500 meters run in 7 minutes
  • Rope Climbing
  • Long Jump or High Jump
  • 100 meters or 400 meters run

Women/ Transgender

  • 400 meters run in 2 minutes 30 seconds
  • Long Jump
  • Shotput or Cricket ball throw
  • 100 meters or 200 meters run

Ex-servicemen/ serving personnel going to retire

  • 1500 meters run in 8 minutes
  • Shotput (7.26 kg) or Long Jump/High Jump
  • 100 meters or 400 meters run

Physical Efficiency Test
It covers different physical activities like running, high jump, long jump, and rope climbing.
